J.B. Lesel is a fantasy writer living in California and sometimes in forests or abroad. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, hiking, tea, travel, being in the wilderness, and sometimes volunteering abroad on wildlife biology research projects.

She has a Master's of Science in Business Psychology and currently works as a peer mentor.
